The Team
The Platform and Site Reliability Engineering team - PRE - at Apptio is global team responsible for maintaining a Kubernetes platform for all Apptio services. The platform is based on EKS and has several Apptio specific services that are designed by the PRE team to simplify the adoption and the use of the platform by the engineering teams.
The team is a group of versatile motivated technologists who are well versed in Golang, Kubernetes, terraform, cloud security and AWS services. The team maintain a large array of services for engineering including GitHub actions, ArgoCD, Datadog, Splunk, Snyk etc.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be leading a team that looks after the development and support of the Apptio Kubernetes Platform across our regions in AWS. The team works closely with our product teams to raise the quality and reliability bar for our products and services and provide feedback and guidance for the adoption of cloud technologies in all stages of the development cycle.
